Step one. Me.
Hello, i'm Brian. My talents are anything once i'm motivated and my weakness is being difficult to motivate. That's a cop out. I'm empathetic and like making people smile. I can think around problems and find easy solutions to difficult tasks, in the hopes of making less work for myself. I want to make everyone on the planet love each other and im totally not an idealist. This comp'ny would help that because alcohol. It would potentially save lives and prevent drunk driving. It would be a platform for me to do things I actually want to and provide my means of living whilst doing so. (money).
Step Two. Offer!
Sin. I'm offering convenience and safety in acquiring alcohol and tobacco and whatever else my employees decide to tell the drunk people they deliver too that they are selling. This is safe.
Step Three. Who?
Hopefully people under 30. Those who dont have the foresight to stock up before a night of drinking and who, when their alcohol source is depleted, cant think "ok time to be done drinking because being sober is ok" and who need more. Really anyone who wants alcohol and is busy/otherwise encumbered and cant be bothered to go get some.
Step four. Who cares?
Everyone is lazy. Without a drive thru McDonalds wouldn't be popular. Yeah bold claim, quote me. So im taking it one step further, not only do you not have to get out of your car to get this service, you can stay in bed. As long as your door is unlocked if it's locked you have to get that.
Step Five. Y U special?
I'm way too nice. I have two eyes, two nostrils, and one ear. Wait two ears as well. I can stand on one leg for like TWENTY minutes. Ok realistically I have quite a bit of vision and passion to help people and while this may be detrimental to the short term well being of people, it will create many a memory for kids, and give me time to work on things to actually help humans. When I set my mind on something I forget on is a word and also I get dyslexic.
The business venture is far fetched. I'd need 10,000$ for a liquor license, I'd need a lot more for storage, product, and henchman(employees). Organization wouldn't be difficult, two days tops. From what ive heard, people love the idea. If it could be priced reasonably, and the 11pm liquor law somehow worked around by the fact the company wouldn't be a liquor store, which I could probably do, it could be tremendous. Or I could waste my time putting sounds together.
Hello Brian,
ReplyDeleteInteresting presentation indeed, there is always to use humor to get people on board with your idea. I do think it has potential for delivery services in general are growing and almost anything is being delivered nowadays given the fast paced lives we’re all living. If the time constraints of liqour stores could be avoided in this model, this would definitely make your offering especially attractive. Best of luck.

Hey Brian. I really like this idea, there have been many times I've thought to myself I would love a liquor (not necessarily just liquor, but snacks and groceries as well) delivery service. The liquor license seems like a shady grey area for this business, since you're not really a liquor store just a delivery service. You would still have to check IDs for sure though. ReplyDeleteHey Brian,
ReplyDeleteI must be honest with you when I say that I cannot see myself backing an idea such as yours. I commend your creativity and your attempt at being innovative though. I believe you should shift away from liquor and tobacco and more towards items that people use on an everyday basis. I like the fact that you explain how that your talents can range from anything once you find the motivation. Keep working hard.

Brian, your idea is easily one of the funniest ideas I’ve ever heard. I absolutely love your enthusiasm and while this seems like a highly-risky and potentially dangerous business venture, who am I to stop you from your dream of delivering booze to kids? It does seem convenient since people often whine about going to get alcohol, so having it delivered to your door saves that hassle. While my idea isn’t as exciting as yours, I still would encourage you to go check it out. http://jacobembuscado.blogspot.com/2016/02/idea-napkin-no-1.html
