Who are your customers?
My customer base encompasses a wide range of individuals. Really anyone I come across in my day to day to life who has money and the ability to spot an honest man. Then we go from there and see if we can work together. I make sure they know a little about stocks because I dont like working with incompetent people, even if its literally me doing all the work I like to not have to explain things to a wall.
I know a few of my dads customers. They agree their unmet needs are just expertise on where to put their extra money. He meets those needs. One said to include he likes to watch Colbert.
Yeah, my dad knows what he's doing and who he is doing it for. It's really not a specific thing although most people with any sufficient funds are at least 25. It just comes down to being honest with them which means getting paid a lot less than most stock brokers. The amount of customers makes up for it though.
How awesome that you have your father to look to as an entrepreneur, and that you actually know his clients well enough to understand why they use your father for his financial services. It sounds like your father could be invaluable in any future entrepreneurial endeavors you take. You can see how in tune with customers my entrepreneur is at http://entreprenuerintraining.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-twenty-percent.html.
ReplyDeleteHey Brian I just wanted to start off by saying that I enjoyed reading your blog. I enjoyed reading it because it was clear that you put forth a great amount of effort toward this assignment. Although you did not include videos you did a good job. Stock trading intrigues me a lot I actually started my own company this summer that deals a little bit with trading. Next time try to follow the directions and include the interviews. I was eager to see the customers response to this. Attached is my link.http://boyettblog12.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-twenty-percent.html
ReplyDeleteBrian, it is very cool that your father is an entrepreneur, learning from him as he progresses with his business must be a great experience. It's also impressive that he uses honesty and openness as the way to draw in customers. They seem to really respond to having money managed by a man with integrity and its a good thing that he understands that. Next time, try to include some videos of your conversations with customers so we can see how they go.
