Who are your customers?
My customer base encompasses a wide range of individuals. Really anyone I come across in my day to day to life who has money and the ability to spot an honest man. Then we go from there and see if we can work together. I make sure they know a little about stocks because I dont like working with incompetent people, even if its literally me doing all the work I like to not have to explain things to a wall.
I know a few of my dads customers. They agree their unmet needs are just expertise on where to put their extra money. He meets those needs. One said to include he likes to watch Colbert.
Yeah, my dad knows what he's doing and who he is doing it for. It's really not a specific thing although most people with any sufficient funds are at least 25. It just comes down to being honest with them which means getting paid a lot less than most stock brokers. The amount of customers makes up for it though.

Week 8 reading reflection
I actually learned some of what I would herald "invaluable information" from this reading. The whole equity financing rather than debt was a whole new idea for me and it was good to learn the vocab associated with it so I can use it in the future. There are a handful of companies that have came into fruition over these past years and im sure the frequency of these will only increases, so hopefully I have the extra money to go with my gut and help them out.
Does the author recommend debt or equity financing? Given the project is nothing crazy or super new.
I liked the idea of an "angel" investor, and was thrown off/reminded of the fast past change we as a species are seeing as indicated by the lack of mention of crowd funding.

Half Way Reflection
Tenacity
Leave your inhibition at the door. This course throws a lot of menial little tasks at you, forcing you to keep a close eye on it. The Kind of things you are made to do are reminiscent of the contemporary classic logic puzzle "would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or 1 horse sized duck?" This class clears that up quite nicely. It's a good idea to at the very least read what sort of things you ave on the agenda for the week, if you're feeling productive, knock them out then and there. Some of them take a good amount of planning and being in an environment that one may not be able to enter within a span of twenty minutes or a couple hours. So plan accordingly.
I never really think to give up. However, about 80% of the time, I try to think of a way to half ass an answer, or find an easy route around it. This has not paid off. Tenacity is an inherent trait of mine although I like to be a little less grandiose and just call it stubbornness. Interviewing people was a tough concept at first, then I just kind of swallowed my fear and walked up to strangers.
Three tips
Do the assignments early. You get a small, meaningless sense of accomplishment just like when you get some likes on an Instagram post except this time you get a grade for it which probably makes it a little bit better. This is called affirmative action and that cultivates tenacity.
Basically just remember how much you're paying for this and that should make you tenacious and show you the light.
Understand that as menial as most of this seems, it's putting you on a schedule, its making you think critically about things that maybe you wouldn't sit and think about during your day. It doesn't seem super useful at face value but you happened upon the class for a reason so you may as well put effort into it. Nothing means nothing.

Free Money
OK so I hate to bypass the rules but I found it kinda difficult to be like here's a dollar also a camera in your face while you take it. But it's totally just because I want to be nice. So none of that, but I gave away five dollars im pretty sure that's not something a class can make you do by like, law. So live with it.
Clothing is a good indicator of how acceptable people will be to take a dollar. Don't offer to the fratly dressed on account of pride.
If you smile it helps. Especially if the best idea you care to use is "I feel nice today".
I feel it'd be easier with more than one dollar because one dollar is not that big a deal and people feel thrown off.
I just walked around my apartment complex and found people.

Customer Interviews no. 3
Here's a picture of how I cant upload videos and am not about to troubleshoot because you arent watching them anyway.
This time I just asked people around my apartment complex to save time since I knew it woudnt work anyway :) I told them it was the last week of interviews and all they had to do was read this short note, look up, and give me a quick reaction. 3/5 said it would be great 2 said it would be unsafe and one of the two gave me an idea to use drones to help safety problems. I've seen a trend of niceness from girls and conflicting opinions from short guys. I've learned people are initially hesitant to say they drink unless you preface that it's completely ok and expected.

Idea Napkin No.1
Step one. Me.
Hello, i'm Brian. My talents are anything once i'm motivated and my weakness is being difficult to motivate. That's a cop out. I'm empathetic and like making people smile. I can think around problems and find easy solutions to difficult tasks, in the hopes of making less work for myself. I want to make everyone on the planet love each other and im totally not an idealist. This comp'ny would help that because alcohol. It would potentially save lives and prevent drunk driving. It would be a platform for me to do things I actually want to and provide my means of living whilst doing so. (money).
Step Two. Offer!
Sin. I'm offering convenience and safety in acquiring alcohol and tobacco and whatever else my employees decide to tell the drunk people they deliver too that they are selling. This is safe.
Step Three. Who?
Hopefully people under 30. Those who dont have the foresight to stock up before a night of drinking and who, when their alcohol source is depleted, cant think "ok time to be done drinking because being sober is ok" and who need more. Really anyone who wants alcohol and is busy/otherwise encumbered and cant be bothered to go get some.
Step four. Who cares?
Everyone is lazy. Without a drive thru McDonalds wouldn't be popular. Yeah bold claim, quote me. So im taking it one step further, not only do you not have to get out of your car to get this service, you can stay in bed. As long as your door is unlocked if it's locked you have to get that.
Step Five. Y U special?
I'm way too nice. I have two eyes, two nostrils, and one ear. Wait two ears as well. I can stand on one leg for like TWENTY minutes. Ok realistically I have quite a bit of vision and passion to help people and while this may be detrimental to the short term well being of people, it will create many a memory for kids, and give me time to work on things to actually help humans. When I set my mind on something I forget on is a word and also I get dyslexic.
The business venture is far fetched. I'd need 10,000$ for a liquor license, I'd need a lot more for storage, product, and henchman(employees). Organization wouldn't be difficult, two days tops. From what ive heard, people love the idea. If it could be priced reasonably, and the 11pm liquor law somehow worked around by the fact the company wouldn't be a liquor store, which I could probably do, it could be tremendous. Or I could waste my time putting sounds together.

Interviewing Customers No.2 AlcoHome
My who in this assignment didnt really need to be fine tuned as were on a college campus so the demand is very much there.
The questions were simple and the idea seemed to stick pretty immediately and the only potential problems I can see with the venture are legal issues and finances
I asked
How do you get your alcohol?
Would you consider this convenient?
Would you consider a delivery service using bikes and scooters to bypass Gainesville's traffic problem a more desirable method?
How much would you be willing to pay for delivery?
I cant put video on here for whatever reason but it just puts up 5 blank things.
I'm starting to get a more concrete understanding of what it is i'm suggesting here and looking into the logistics of actually bringing it into fruition.
When interviewing customers, make sure to smile and seem friendly. Always tell them it's ok to say no. Make them comfortable, give them a massage and foot rub. Refrain from roasting their outfit. Don't talk to people with headphones in, take bodily cues when someone doesnt want to be bothered and be mindful of people who are very obviously anxious and dont add additional stressors to their lives. Be casual. It's just a human.

Week 5 Reading Reflection
The thing that resonated with me most from the reading was the importance of proper timing, as that is always something that has been difficult for me, it was good to have it acknowledged as important.
I liked the stressing of the importance of the availability of a market to sell too.
The feasibility criteria approach thing was a little confusing for me at first.
2 Questions:
What is a good method to gauge whether or not there is a proper customer base?
How long until one should be worried if sales are not going well?

Elevator Pitch No.1- Alchohome
We are Alchohome. Our CEO, Brian Glennon, identified a tremendous problem troubling communities everywhere and we have dedicated our lives to fixing it. The opportunity in question is that of a mobile alcohol delivery service. Alcohol is the one thing that if you need MORE of, its probably safe to assume you definitely shouldn't drive to get it. Is that going to stop a drunk you from doing whatever is in your power from getting more ethanol into your bloodstream? Probably not.
So we decided to give you some more power.
There's going to be an app for delivery. There's going to be a storage house, maybe multiple if expansion happens. There's going to be someone with 10,000$ so we can get a liquor license. We have people ride around on bikes, or scooters, cars for big orders, and deliver alcohol tobacco and anything else i'm forgetting at the moment that is legal and people like to use to slowly kill themselves.
So we decided to give you some more power.
